Lecture "Evolution of brain size and intelligence"

Carel is a primatologist from the University of Zurich who has contributed seminal studies to our understanding of how life history traits co-evolve with brain size and hence which ecological factors might drive brain size changes including the three-fold increase during human brain evolution (see e.g. his recent book: The Primate Origins of Human Nature).
